Lamina System develop new machine

London, UK-based SMP Group have installed a tape machine from Lamina System of Boras, Sweden. The machine is used to apply double sided tapes.

This machine has a special function that allows it to apply and cut to length thick magnetic tape primarily used for POS work. The magnetic tape option is the first machine of its kind and was developed by designers at Lamina at the request of SMP Group.

Over the last 2yrs many brand new machine models have been built and installed around the world. Yet another new innovative machine is in the early design stages but will become available for sale in early 2024. As this will be a Drupa year, exciting times are ahead!
