A ninth Bickers 20.30 GLUEJET® XY Gluer has been installed at their display site in Dublin.
Over the last 18 months four Bickers XY Gluers have been installed at their sites in Wetherby and Corby meaning in total Wetherby has four GLUEJET® and three GLUEJET® at Corby. In addition to this, Display in Dublin has had a GLUEJET® since 2014 and was the first in the group. The late summer of 2021 sees a second Bickers GLUEJET® installed into the Dublin site meaning across all three sites there are now nine GLUEJET® in total.
Jonathan Arthur, General Manager, Display UK and Ireland (a part of the Smurfit Kappa group) said: “We purchased the XY glue plotter from Bickers to improve social distancing and increase production on our FSDU & POS work. Safety, speed and consistency are among the features that impressed us".
Despite the challenges of COVID-19, Bickers of Germany were able to carry out the installation quickly and safely while following government advice.
